Manager's Message – December 2008 Dear Sanibel Cottages Owners, Season's Greetings from beautiful Sanibel Island! It is my pleasure to share with you the following projects scheduled for 2009, all of them aimed at enhancing your vacation experience: New televisions in the living rooms (bedroom televisions will be changed out as needed, and the replacements will be commercial LCD flat-panel TVs) New washers and dryers New dining room chandeliers New guest bathroom shower curtains and artwork “Comfort Height” toilets in the master and guest bathrooms In addition, the initial phases of your guest bathroom refurbishment will begin in 2009. In a separate matter, I want to update you on the resort's new smoking fee. Your Board of Directors approved a $300 minimum fee for Owners or guests who smoke in the units. As stated in the association's bylaws, Owners who do not pay the fee will have the fee placed on their account. The 2009 maintenance fee and tax statements have been mailed, and the accompanying letter and budget are posted as a PDF file on this page.
